New York City - Part Two
On Monday we started with Glynn’s dream breakfast at Dimes. And then headed to The Whitney. After the art, we took a break at The Standard for wine and snacks.
We obviously had to stop at Jeffrey for a quick browse – Cam was forced to watch all the SNL skits in advance as preparation. We took a quick run through Chelsea Market and wait for it… got more coffee.
Before dinner back on the Lower East Side we met friends for drinks at Glynn’s long time Tribeca fave Smith & Mills. A tiny bar that makes the most delicious cocktails and somehow manages to serve full meals from what is basically a hot plate behind the bar.
We started Tuesday with a trip to the One World Observatory, which at 100 stories up naturally has insane views of the entire city. It is really a pretty cool way to see New York.
The rest of the day was a mix of more wandering and shopping, and of course more pizza. This time from Prince Street Pizza which has super long lines every time we passed by. We ducked in when the line was short and picked up some of the giant square slices, which definitely lived up to the hype and may have been Cam’s favorite part of the whole trip.
On our walk home Glynn spotted a smoothie place full of super foods and chia seeds and obviously made us stop (because it cancels out the pizza – duh). Dr. Smood definitely feels like a little bit of LA in NY.
We met some friends at Café Cluny (burgers for both of us of course) for dinner and actually remembered to snap a few pics on our way.
